Founder Launchpad was established to address a specific gap in the Australian consumer goods advisory market. Considerable expertise exists at the point of distribution, where brokers and category consultants help commercially sound brands secure ranging. Very little independent capability exists at the stage before it, where founders decide what to make, who should make it, what it should cost, and whether the numbers hold.
That earlier stage carries the largest irreversible losses, and it is where this practice operates.
The position
Founder Launchpad holds no retailer relationships, takes no commission on supply arrangements and accepts no equity in client businesses. The constraint is deliberate. An advisor whose income depends on a launch proceeding cannot credibly advise a founder against it, and that advice is frequently the most valuable output of the work.
How the work is conducted
- Every engagement runs through the Launch Readiness Model, so that assessments are comparable and reasoning is visible.
- Scope and fee are agreed in writing before work begins.
- Findings are delivered in full, including findings that are unwelcome.
- Client product information, formulations, costings and supplier arrangements are treated as confidential.
[PLACEHOLDER: replace before publishing] This section requires your actual background: years in FMCG, categories worked, roles held, notable launches or supplier side experience, and any qualifications. Credibility at this stage of the funnel is carried almost entirely by verifiable operator experience, and it should not be drafted speculatively.
Scope of advice
Founder Launchpad provides commercial advisory services. It does not provide legal, financial, accounting, taxation or regulatory advice, and does not provide food safety, labelling compliance or certification services. Where those inputs are required, founders are directed to appropriately qualified practitioners.
